NT Students Attend DECA Conference in CA

The DECA International Career Development Conference (ICDC) is the culmination of the DECA year. More than 23,000 high school students, teacher-advisors, business professionals and alumni gather for several days of DECA excitement. Our two BMA seniors, Lismary  Aguilar and Joey -Lynn Mills worked hard to prepare for their event and their strategy was solid. Although we did not reach the finalist round, it was an experience that will stay with them for years to come.  

All work and no play is NO fun in California, so in addition to their competitive event, we also got a chance to participate/ walkthrough ICDC’s college/ vendor expo, enjoy DECA a night at the Disneyland California Adventure Park, got a taste of the Hollywood glamour touring Hollywood BLVD, Ripley’s Believe it or Not museum and a little shopping here and there.  We definitely “Experienced the Difference”  at the conference – One for the books!
