In a life-threatening emergency, always call 9-1-1.
We encourage our students and parents to contact us anytime with questions or concerns. However, due to the sensitive nature of some circumstances, we want to provide a way for individuals to make anonymous reports. Our reporting system is not a crisis line; report any emergencies to 911. If you use our reporting system, administrators will receive your report during normal school hours and will take appropriate action as soon as possible. Providing specific information is critical to our investigation. We do not collect or store any personal information about you when you submit a concern unless you voluntarily provide it. All information will be kept confidential.

The safety and wellbeing of students is the top priority at Norwich Tech. We take a multi-pronged approach to fostering a secure learning environment, partnering closely with law enforcement, implementing safety protocols, and encouraging vigilance from all members of our school community.
Here are some of the ways that Norwich Tech has engaged in safety and security preparedness efforts:
– Our school resource officer builds relationships with students/staff and serves as first line of defense
– We collaborate with local police departments to ensure emergency plans reflect best practices
– Norwich Tech has robust security systems – video surveillance, locked doors, visitor management system, ID badges
– Regular safety drills and debriefings keep protocols sharp
– Safety/Security team meets monthly to discuss concerns, solutions, and updates
– Creating a safe school requires dedication and effort from all
– By working together, preparing vigilantly, and building trust between law enforcement and school, we aim to provide a secure learning environment
